Conservation and scientific cetacean workshop in Loreto.

From the National Institute of Anthropology and History, Nakawe Project and Baja Adventures, we invite you to a Cetacean Talk on December 10, 2024, at the Museum of the Missions of Baja California in Loreto, at 4:00 PM.

At Baja Adventures and Nakawe Project, we work towards the care and responsible management of natural resources and the species that inhabit this region. We promote good practices and collaborate with researchers to gather essential data that allows us to design future management plans, understand species distribution, and strengthen conservation efforts. On this occasion, we are pleased to have the special participation of researcher Mario A. Pardo from @conahcyt_mex - @cicese_oficial, La Paz Academic Unit, and Marine Macroecology Laboratory.

Mario will share his knowledge and experience with the community regarding the distribution and behavior of cetaceans, providing key tools for the effective management of our protected natural areas.

We look forward to learning together about the importance of conserving the marine wealth of our home!

Part of these workshops is made possible thanks to the funding support from Endangered Species Chocolate.
